So it was a most excellent day for detecting. The weather was perfect and Charles and Duane are always a hoot to hand with. Finding a 1938 Walking Liberty Half was the icing on the cake!!

Also found 5 wheaties 1917, 1945-D, 1951-D, 1954-D and 1957-D along with 4 clad quarters, 7 clad dimes and 17 memorials.

I could not believe that was still hiding there after everyone sweeping over that area. Just goes to show that no where is really hunted out. Even a cherry picked location Smile

Nice WL half dollar, brother! You still have the touch!!! I'm like CJ. I can't believe that big slab wasn't found before now as much as that area has been pounded!
