If so, please let me know. I have some questions about it.
Thanks,
Curt

I have found one for sale and just wondering:

1) What are they worth? This one is a 2004 model.
2) Can you put a 4.5" coil on it and not lose the screen profiling / imaging?
3) Are they decent detectors or not?
4) What is their best depth?

I guess thats about it. I know of one for sale for $300.00 and just wondering if it's something I should buy to have as a back-up for my GTI 1500.

I'd really like to find a real good used MXT, but they're a little out of my price range.

Thanks in advance for your help.
Curt

1)  You can get a brand new one from Kellyco for $590.00 plus shipping.  There have been no upgrades to the GTP1350 since 2004 that I'm aware of.

2)  Yes, everything works the same regardless of the coil size.

3)  Performance will depend on the type of hunting you wish to do, but the GTP1350 is a good all-around detector with a lot of features you normally find only on higher end machines.

4)  Depth is always dependent on settings, soil, moisture, mineralization and coil size, but I would say that it's comparable to anything else out there.  Steve Hill, in our club, used to use one and I've seen him dig good targets at 8+ inches.

I would definitely recommend it as a back-up machine.  It's very easy to operate and adjust settings.
