I am new to all of this, but have a friend or two that are really into it.   They are retired teachers and live out of state.    When they come up to visit time to time,  they always want to find a place to go looking around.   They are not into the Civil war stuff as much as they like rev. war stuff.

Where can I find older maps of the areas around her so we can try and match up places that we think might be worth looking around.

I am tired of hearing them complain that I have not been any help with this......ha ha

Thanks

Hi kostus...you can start by searching via Google for old maps.  Here's a link to get you started:

Good Luck!

You can also check out the Carolina Room at the main library, uptown Charlotte. they have a wealth of info. Just ask one of the staff for help..
