Hello everyone,

I just wanted to thank you all for allowing me to attend the hunt as a visitor at the old home site close to the airport today. I had a great time and met some great folks. Thank you CJ and all the other MDAC members. Also thanks to my buddy Curt who got me excited about this great hobby once again. I plan on attending the next meeting if thats ok with everyone.

I'd be excited too if I would have found that Silver Quarter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The MDAC is truly a fine group of folks to meet and hunt with. None better and Top Notch in my book! I too really enjoyed the hunt and fellowship.

By the way, when I got home this afternoon and my wife Joy said "well, did you find anything today?"....being very careful how I answered her I said "well nothing real valuable." (nails,wire & bottle tops) Then she said, "huh, I found a silver dime in my change today!" Naturally my next response was "LET ME SEE IT!" Go figure... Confused

Glad you guys made it out today, and what an excellent way to get things started! Never nice SLQ in deed.

Thnks nc-joe for the invite to the meeting. I'll see all of you the 4th Tuesday in March. I had a great time and the SLQ was just a bonus. For all the members of MDAC here is a pic of the SLQ. She's seen better days but she's still a fine lady.
