The 10x12 SEF gave me quite a workout today. In total, I have 7 hours of use with this coil. 1/2 the first day, 1 hour the second day and 51/2 of actual coil swinging time today. The verdict.... this coil is deadly. WOW! The mentionable finds for the 7 hours...
2 watches
1 fishing weight
1 screw from a pair of glasses, (see below)
1 rivet or button from a pair of jeans (see below)
1 zipper pull
1 dog collar with tag
1 matchbox car (Dodge Viper)
1 Token (unknown see below)
32 dimes
10 Nickels
35 Quarters
41 pennies
As I said in my prior posts, this coil is super sensative. Although most of coins were within reach of most coils, there were some deeper coins that gave a much better signal than other coils do. Also, see the picture below with the brass button, screw and dime. I used the dime to show the miniture size of the targets. Both of these were recovered at 2+ inches (just over 2 inches in the dirt, plus the grass was somewhat high adding a little more depth) Both these small items gave a strong signal. I did not keep the flakes of foil I dug, but they were as small and/or smaller than these objects.
The token with the Eagle on one side and the star and horseshoe on the other was found using this coil today. The other token was found last weekend and is interesting because it has a reeded edge and is blank on both sides.
Hopefully I will get a change to hit some hunted out sites containing silver next weekend, but with the heat and humidity today, I had to call it a day before I could go to a 4th location.
Give the amount of sensativity and ability to go deep, this coil is like haveing a 4.5x7, 6x10 and 10x14 all in one coil.
Definately a coil worth having!

Hey Joe, I'm thinking of selling my Bigfoot coil because I never use it. What's the cost of the SEF?
nc-joe
The "online" price is $169.95 plus shipping. Call me and I will give you a contact person at Kellyco that will beat that price.

I ordered the 10x12 SEF coil for my DFX from Kellyco today. After Joe's reports, I can't wait to try it out!
