A few finds and Silver on Tuesday eveningHi all,
Made it out after work for a couple of hours on Tuesday. Hunted the back yard of a 30-40's mill house that a friend of mine owns and found some what-nots, 4 memorial pennies, 1 clad dime, 2 nickles and a 1949 silver quarter. The quarter and all the coins were....yep, directly under the old clothes line about 4 inches deep! The vintage basketball pin/medal must have been something for a letter jacket or such.

Cool finds. Any idea if the K on the pin is for Kings Mtn schools? It could also be a mill team pin. Nice find.

Not sure if the Pin is for the Kings Mtn schools or not. I plan to ride by and check out their trophey case and see if they have anything comparable . They have a large display with trophys from way back in the 50's including an old letter jacket or 2. Hopefully I can identify it that way.

Good job there Curt, I've had good luck at the clothes lines. charlie has for got about the times he and I were out and the clothes lines where he would find rings and such.
