C.S.A. Belt Plate - Tennessee/Virginia VariantEarly one morning during Thanksgiving weekend of 2006, I started searching around the In-Laws property in Tennessee. My first target of the morning rang in at a 85-89 on the XLT VDI. Dug down about 5 inches or so and out popped this beauty!
It's been featured on the White's Web Site for Customer Finds as well as a "Best Find of 2006" in the Western and Eastern Treasures Magazine.

THAT IS A REALLY SWEET FIND. BOY; IF I WOULD HIT SOMETHING LIKE THAT, ALL OF YOU WOULD HEAR ME. WHAT MACHINE WERE YOU USING? AND HOW DID IT SHOW ON YOUR DETECTOR.

At the time, I had a White's XLT using a Custom Relic program. It was about 4-5 inches down and read in the mid to high +80s on the VDI.
Loved every second of filling back in my hole that morning...

WowWouldn't it be nice if all of us could find something like that. I guess it's only for those lucky few!!
Congrats on a great find. My sister lives in Tennessee - I think I better get up there more often.....
