C.S.A. Belt Plate - Tennessee/Virginia Variant

Early one morning during Thanksgiving weekend of 2006, I started searching around the In-Laws property in Tennessee. My first target of the morning rang in at a 85-89 on the XLT VDI. Dug down about 5 inches or so and out popped this beauty!

It's been featured on the White's Web Site for Customer Finds as well as a "Best Find of 2006" in the Western and Eastern Treasures Magazine.

THAT IS A REALLY SWEET FIND. BOY; IF I WOULD HIT SOMETHING LIKE THAT, ALL OF YOU WOULD HEAR ME. WHAT MACHINE WERE YOU USING? AND HOW DID IT SHOW ON YOUR DETECTOR.

At the time, I had a White's XLT using a Custom Relic program. It was about 4-5 inches down and read in the mid to high +80s on the VDI.

Loved every second of filling back in my hole that morning... Very Happy

Wow

Wouldn't it be nice if all of us could find something like that. I guess it's only for those lucky few!!

Congrats on a great find. My sister lives in Tennessee - I think I better get up there more often.....

How well I would like to fill in a few wholes after pulling something like that out of it. Razz
