Handheld GPS units

Anyone have experience with any of the handheld GPS units? Just curious what a low to medium line unit would do?(Get you back to your vehicle? Take you back to a finds place deep in the woods?) It appears there are several on EBay in the $100-$200 range but are they worth having? Apparently the most popular units are the Garmen & Magellan although I did see one Fujitsu.
I have a Garmin in my vehicle but it doesn't seem to work where there is no road.  Smile
Just curious...

I use a Garmin GPS72 "in the field"  works pretty good and can be bought for around $35 used.  Of course you can spend a few extra bucks and buy a high end unit with topos loaded, and better abilities to be multi-versatile, but for "way points"  (get you from point A to point B and using the unit to match up what you see on google earth with the real landscape, the GPS72 does the trick.

Thanks Joe

That's exactly what I needed to know.
