IMPORTANT FORUM INFORMATION FAQ'sHey Guys,
I'm putting together a FAQ Thread for the forum, so here goes. If you have a question relating to the forum, ask it here!
Question:
I have had a few people ask me, "How come it has the wrong date and time on the threads?!"
Answer:
Simply log in to your account. In the top-right, you'll see a link that says "Profile". Click that and it will take you where you can edit your profile. Near the bottom, you will see an option to edit your time. You'll need to select "GMT -4hours". Click the Submit button at the bottom and you're set.
Question:
How do I join the Forum and what are the basics to posting messages?
Answer:
1. On the top-right hand side, you will see a few options. Click "Join! (free)". This will take you to a page with the registration agreement terms.
2. Read over the terms and click, "I agree to these terms and am over or exactly 13 years of age." if you are 13 or over.
3. You should now be seeing a place to enter in Registration Information. Fill that out as best as you can and click "Submit" at the bottom.
4. It will take you to a page saying that you have successfully created your account and that you can log in to the forum now.
5. Go to the forum and log in with your username and password that you registered with.
6. Browse around the different topics.
7. When you want to post, select the topic you want to post in.
8. If you are wanting to Create a new post, click the "New Topic" button on the top left. If you are wanting to respond to a thread that's already been created, go to that thread and click "Post Reply" in the top right.
9. It will give you a text box to type your message in as well as a subject. Fill that in as good as you can.
10. If you are needing to add a picture, click "Attach File" directly to the bottom left of the text box and this will pop-up a window. Click browse and point it to the file you are wanting to show. Once you click "upload file" it may take a minute but it will automatically place the image code in the text box for you.
11. When finished with the message and ready for it to get posted, click Submit.
