Just wanted to drop a post here and say I’m hate I missed the last meeting and club hunt. Sounds like you guys had a great time at both. I do have a decent excuse since I was out of town at the beach for the past 12 days. I took the family and did our annual SC beach trip and yes, paw-paw took his detectors. In fact, they were to first things packed for the trip! Imagine that. Well, I wish I had some elaborate tales of finding humongous gold rings and jewelry but it just didn’t happen. I did find one questionable ladies bracelet that was real deep in the surf line that had some barnacles growing on it that may just be plated or even better. Not sure yet till I do the electrolysis on it. Another find is some sort of coin with growth on it too. Can’t make out the writing on it but it does appear to be a dime sized coin or token. Otherwise, clad a plenty was the norm. The beach was absolutely covered during the day and night of the 4th. Low tide ended up being during the middle of the day and around midnight for the most part which had me out in the dry sand at around 5:45am most mornings and late afternoons till dark. As I said, clad was plentiful but so was the trash. I’ve dropped a couple photos below for viewing. I didn’t get rich but the hunting was absolutely wonderful. Sun rise was breath taking! Beats working any day of the week right? The first photo is my clad haul, the bracelet , crusty coin, dog tag and some small jewelry odds and ins. The second photo is my trash haul. Yes, I pretty much dug everything that sized smaller than a beer can…including pull tabs. Bunches and bunches of pull tabs. The last photo is a close up of the bracelet beside my ring. Could it be...? Oh well, can’t wait to swing a coil again real soon. Hopefully this weekend. Happy Hunting all!

Don't know at what times you were out there hunting, but looks like you made good of your time. I too hope the bracelet turns out good.
