Lunch Hunt

I ran out at lunch and swung the detector for 15 minutes checking out the club hunt site.  This is what I found.   The coins are 1970's the button is my first military button.  Looks like an air force button with the back marked scovill Waterbury, CT.  Not too old but cool.    I hope to see you all Saturday for the Club Hunt.  Definately and untouched site but very trashy.  It will be challenging but fun.

Thanks Jim , Looking foward to the hunt.  BTW did you choose a new coil yet?

Jim: job well done, I think this will produce some good finds. And you're right about bringing a small coil. Plus; everybody needs to keep in mind the available parking space, some may need to double up.

Henry, good point.    If you can double up that would be great.  Bring a strong digging tool as the ground is dry and hard.

I have ordered a 6" Excelerator from Kellyco.  They are back ordered so it will be a while before I get it.

Thanks for your feedback and see you Saturday.

Call Tony at Kellyco and change your order from the 6" to the 4.5x7 DD Excellerator and beat him up over the price!!! Tell him I sent you.

Thanks!  I will do that tomorrow.  Hopefully it will be in stock.

NC-Joe,

Thanks for the recommendation.  Tony was extremely helpful and gave me a great deal on the coil you recommended.  So good that I also picked up the 10" DD Butterfly coil on his advice.    It looks like I will have the new coil Friday just in time for Saturday's hunt.  I am anxious to see the difference.

Thanks again!

After borrowing the 10x12 SEF a couple of times from Joe ,I ordered one as well , It came in Monday ,Ive been going over the same old ground with different detectors and coils and this one is a keeper. I think you will like also.

I use the 10x12 SEF coil on my DFX.  It's so good I sold my Super 12 and Bigfoot coils.
