My wife is gonna kill me!I've been looking around for a Minelab Excal and manged to get a new one for $780 that was in a water damaged box (imagine that a waterproof detector in a water damaged box) that still carries the warranty. While talking on the phone with the dealer I happened to mention I was looking for an F75 as well....I was then informed he had one cheap ($740 with a hard case) as he was discontinuing sales of Fischer's ....I got lucky when they were delivered I was home and she wasn't!!
To ease the pain, and have an explanation ready when she figures it out I sold the GTI 2500 to cover the F75.
Been learning both detectors....and I have been very pleasantly surprised with the F75. That thing goes really deep and with the soft sandy soil in Charleston where I do a lot of my hunting depth is the key in my opinion.

It sounds like you got 2 very good deals!
You may have to take your wife shopping, Beale.

All sounds good to me. Just tell her these ARE the old ones, maybe she won't know the difference. I'm holding it for a friend?
Let us know what you find..

I make sure I only have one out at a time. Since I sold the Garrett and replaced it I think she only notices one and thinks the MInelab is the Viper Trident that my son had and sold. So my stealth program seems to be working.

Hey; sound like a good plan, mind if I brough it. I sold my wifes and she don't know it yet. I don't what type I'm going to get as yet, but I'll have to ship it to my work, not home when I do.
