Recent hunt at a Colonial HouseMet with Doug and Andy (from Lexingtong/Raliegh) and detected a colonial home that Doug lined up. Had a great day, showed Andy how to run his new Explorer..... Go figured, he bagged the 1891 Seated Quarter, I got 2 wheaties, a swimming medal and a really cool, but primative pewter flat button with a sunburst type design scribed in it. A great day of detecting, and a great couple of guys to hang out with!
I also hit a bottle cache there, I left the bottle with Doug to clean and donate to the home owner..... I also found a few odds and ends (cool stuff) but donated to the home owner. Also the bottom picture is what appears to be an old perfume case with the glass vial still intact!
