The things Charlie does that make us laugh....I am just having a little fun (at your expense of course)
I was out detecting with Charles today and after a while he started to dig a target. He said, hey, good dime signal! Oh, wait now it's just a penny signal. This machine lies worse than...... first it said it was a dime, then the penny and I dig up a nail? I replied, "Your machine didn't lie. In fact you have the best target ID machine made. It clearly identifed you found a 10 penny nail."

HARDY HAR HAR HAR...YOU SO FUNNY. Make fun of the handicap. I swore they was coming to get me from behind.
The "Ten Penny " was funny. I was holding my machine in the crook of my left arm with the coil up behind me. I have a bad left eye and out of the corner of that eye I saw something behind me. As I swing around it moves further behind me. I had my Lesche shovel in my right hand and was going to beat the crap out of my own coil. I grew up in NJ so your used to things attacking you. Needless to say as this was happening Joe and Mike thought I was losing it. I guess you had to be there! |

Scared of his own shadowIn NJ, we refer to a person who reacts like that as being "goosey". We usually would not stand too close to them, because there's a possibility you'd get clubbed in response to one of their wild swings! Most people are cured after 10 years away from NJ, but sometimes it takes longer, and if they have recurring episodes, they might never get well. I hope he seeks competent aid soon. |

You know; its hard for old dogs to break bad habits. He still chases car tires too. But we still love him and plan on keeping him around a little while longer or until the men in the white jackets come.
