Token?I found this token while detecting at an older location here in Charlotte. I can not find any info on it. Does anyone have an idea as to the history of it?

Spur gas stations have been around since at least the 40's, and are still around in several states, including Alabama, Kentucky and Minnesota. Here's a picture of one I found on the internet...
Back in the 50's, the Spur Distributing Co. home office was in Nashville, TN, and they distributed "premiums" like road maps and other freebies. Your token was for use at stations that had the premiums for handout.
