Weekend finds?Ok guys and gals,
Surely with temps in the mid 70's this past weekend someone had to have found some goodies to show the rest of us! Let's hear about 'em! I was unable to attend the club hunt due to a prior engagement but did manage to do a little md'ing yesterday.

I had a blast. No silver but lots of digging.
1 clad Kennedy Half - 1972
2 clad Quarters
5 clad Dimes
49 Memorial Pennies
4 Wheaties 1942, 1952, 1956-D, 1951
1 Ford Key 1960s
1 brass key chain for a Rum Company
Being new to the hobby it was nice to have a day like this. Thank you for the invite. Can't wait to get back there with the group.

Wish I could have made the huntIt sure looks like you did a lot of digging. It always nice to find some wheats (but heck the clad is what helps buy the batteries and stuff). Hopefully I'll be a full fledged member soon and not have scheduling conflicts and be able to attend the next hunt.

Well I hunted both Sat and Sun. I really did not do very well either day. A couple of bucks in clad each dasy and some costume jewelry Sunday. It sure beats sitting around inside though, Beale.

Hi Guys and Gals: I too was at the hunt and had a great time. No silver or wheaties but great weather and good fellowship, can't get any better than that. It gets me when people get to where they think should be able to find silver or even gold at every hunt and wound up not having any fun. I thought that's why we got into this hobby.
Of course: I started some thirty years ago, so now the fun is in the hunt and not so much in the find, unless its a rare or special find. Now don't get me wrong, I like getting the silver as well as the next person.
