Ya Never KnowStopped for 30 minutes on Saturday at a tot lot adjoining a school by my daughters dance class. The school couldn't be more than 2 years old. I branched out past the wood chips and got a signal in the dirt. I dig it up and it is a very old wheatie...date illegible. Been in the ground a while. Must have been from what had been their previously or from the dirt that was moved there. Go figure! It was the last thing I was expecting at a new school.
Anyone know what the pieces of metal I keep finding in the wood chips? They look like heavy aluminum and have rough edges like they were cut or melted. The last two tot lots I hit I must have hit 25 of them because the MXT said penny dime or quarter with a high VDI. Are they part of the set up on the equipment or running through the shredder when the wood was chipped?
