D.O. anyone?
Anyone plan on hitting up D.O. this week? I can go for a few hours after work starting at about 3:45 - 4:00. Just give me a call @ 980-322-4272. HH, Troy
Button ID?
I found this at a site Friday afternoon and Shane found one about twice as big as this one. I figure it's WWI or WWII ? Am I correct?

Any info appreciated.

Sam and I went out Sunday and had a great time.  I hit a total of $3.95 in clad counting the stuff I hit earlier in the day.  I also found my first foreign coin...1981 Canadian Penny..Yea..one off the list.  I found my first Buffalo nickel but unfortunately it was a 2005.  I also found my 18th State Quarter...Only 38 more States to find.   The coolest thing I found was a G-Unit 50Cent pendant.  I thought it might be silver but it wasn't.  The center part spins ...
More Clad
Met up with Jim D. this afternoon for a few hours of hunting at DO. Found 2.41 in clad and a Chucky cheese token. It was better than sitting around the house all afternoon.

More D.O. gold...(sort of)
Had a great time with Sam, Tim, Duane, and Curt hunting the older section of D.O. today...found a men's 10KT Gold-filled large ring, three wheaties (1941, 1956, & 1958D), $3.17 in clad, another Chuck E. Cheese token and a cool 1968 Sunoco-DX Antique Car Series Token (1903 Winton Touring Car). This was part of a 50 coin aluminum set. 25 were released in 1968 and another 25 in 1969. Anyone have the other 49 and need this one?

Also found a couple of reminders of why we don't go to D.O. by ou ...
New to the forum
I'm new to the forum and plan on joining the MDAC. I will be out of town for the next meeting but hope to come to the April meeting.

I am attending the Diggin in Virginia event (DIV XIV) and was wondering if anyone from the club was going to attend? If so, let me know and I'll look you up there.  If not, I hope to meet you all soon.

Happy hunting!

Alan

Could the six items on the right be cannon friction primers? it is hard to tell from the picture but it is a possibility.

Nice dime! every one I have ever found has been almost slick.
