Hello folks ... I'm new to the forum and relatively new to the hobby and just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Roger and a recent transplant from upstate New York now living in the Huntersville NC area ... I would be very much interested in hearing from anyone that would be interested in partnering up for an occasional hunt or to let me know about any group hunts in the area. // THANKS // Roger

| Welcome Roger, glad to have you aboard. Have you seen our website? www.mdacclub.org Check it out. Most of us are willing and able to hunt most weekends, some evenings and there are a few retirees that can hunt anytime. What type of detector do you use? |

Hey Joe ... thanks for the greeting ... I see a lot of got useful info on the website ... are the club meetings open or would I have to have a sponsor to attend?
I'm currently using a Bounty Hunter 505 which will likely be passed on to my wife once I take the plunge for the Minelab E-Trac ... The Bounty Hunter seems to give relatively good results and real easily to learn. For anyone looking for a partner I can hunt most evening and weekends ... plus, being self employed, can also steal away some time during the week as well ... // Roger |

Hello Roger,
I am fairly new to the area, I have been here for about 3-4 years.
Transplanted from Florida. I am new to the hobby, but I have not let that stop me yet. I live in Kannapolis & am up for getting together sometime, as long as I can get around my school schedule. _________________ "I Can Dig-It Man"

Welcome: hope you enjoy our web site and as for members in your area, I'm not sure, but if you but it out there like you have, I'm sure when someone is in up your way they will give you a shalt.
Hope you are finding some good stuff, post some photos if you want. We all love seeing pictures of finds.
